The world of motorsports has never seen more action and tension during the 2021 season of the Formula 1 World Championship.

This crisis committee is specifically centered on the tumultuous events of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix during the 2021 season and all subsequent races in the World Championship. Red Bull contender Max Verstappen is running neck and neck with Mercedes superstar Lewis Hamilton for the Driver’s Championship title. They have had several bouts and “racing incidents” throughout the season with the most notable being in Silverstone where the two drivers crashed into each other leading to a collective DNF. Both drivers will not stop at anything to come out on the top step of the podium even if there is dirty driving involved.

Delegates will pose as drivers and team bosses on the 2021 grid and make several decisions in relation to driver conflicts, team orders, fan controversies, geopolitical grievances, and track operations and logistics. Formula 1 is a mechanical and aesthetic arms race and delegates must also focus on improving their car and making it as fast and safe as possible. This committee will be speeding off; be careful to not get left in the gravel.
