A New Age for Outlaws: Read Dead Redemption II, 1899
The year is 1899, and the Old West is breathing its last raspy breaths, much like Dutch’s latest plan if you’re not careful. The Van der Linde gang, a motley crew of idealists, gunslingers, and chaos enthusiasts, has fled to New Hanover, licking their wounds after a disastrous run-in with the wealthy tycoon Leviticus Cornwall and his loyal army of Pinkerton detectives. Now, holed up just outside of Valentine—a town where the saloons pour drinks stronger than the sheriff's sense of law—the gang must make some tough decisions.
As delegates, you’ll step into the boots (or spurs) of the gang’s members, tasked with navigating the looming pressures of modernization, fractured loyalties, and whatever Dutch decides is "the plan" this week. Can you keep the gang together, or will America’s push toward progress chew up your outlaw dreams? With clashing personalities, hidden agendas, and the occasional exploding train car, this crisis committee promises more drama than Arthur’s journal and more tension than a poker game in Saint Denis.
